Industry Challenges
With the accelerated deployment of 5G networks, the telecommunications sector is facing unprecedented energy pressure:
Base stations operate 24/7, making them major electricity consumers with continuously rising power costs.
Massive growth in 5G site deployment drives energy demand sharply upward.
Due to the smaller coverage radius of 5G, site density must reach 3–4 times that of 4G, while overall energy consumption becomes 9× higher, greatly increasing operational costs.
Under carbon neutrality targets, operators must increase green energy usage through behind-the-wall power purchase, green certificates, and PV construction.
Simplified sites without backup power are becoming common; once the grid fails, the network is interrupted immediately.
Telecom power systems are shifting from coverage-focused to energy-efficiency-focused, requiring a more economical, intelligent, and sustainable power model.
EverExceed ESB series Renewable Hybrid Telecom Power Systems
EverExceed provides a PV (solar) + ESS (battery storage) + Grid hybrid energy architecture tailored for telecom base stations, enabling a complete cycle of power generation, storage, utilization, and backup.

System Operation Logic (Smart Scheduling & Cost Saving)
1. PV Priority Operation
Under sufficient sunlight, EverExceed DC/DC solar modules prioritize PV power for DC load supply, reducing daytime grid consumption.
Any deficit is automatically supplemented by the battery or grid depending on the tariff period.
2. Energy Storage Peak Shaving & Valley Filling
EverExceed LiFePO4 batteries operate with an intelligent charging/discharging strategy to reduce electricity costs:
During peak periods: PV + battery storage power the load together.
During flat periods: PV + grid jointly supply the load.
During valley periods: Low-cost grid power supplies the load and charges the battery.
This maximizes energy arbitrage and reduces OPEX.
3. Backup Power in Grid Outages
During cloudy days or grid failures, the EverExceed battery system automatically provides emergency backup power.
A reserve capacity (Reserve SOC) can be configured to ensure uninterrupted communication.
